Is the storm your activation?

Is the storm your activation? Cancer is most definitely a violent storm, a nightmare of hopelessness but even though no one likes to navigate one, we have been wired for victory. There’s a passage in the Bible where Jesus and His disciples were in a boat, and while Jesus slept a storm broke out. His disciples were so fearful that they awoke Jesus and questioned if Jesus cared for them. He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the waves “Quiet! Be Still!” then the wind died down and everything was completely calm. Jesus turned and asked His followers “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

I ask the same to you now… Do you still have no faith? Jesus reigns over our circumstances and through Him we have access and authority to calm any storm. Perhaps your storm is designed to activate an anointing in you. Run towards it and through Him calm it down.

Prayer Declaration

Heavenly Father, I thank you for never giving up on me, for your forgiveness and relentless love towards me. Please help me to not feed the storms I face but rather rebuke them with your peace and command them to “Quiet! and Be Still!” Let my faith in you rise up in me crushing all fear I may feel. Let this storm I face be a process of increase in my faith in you.
