Holy and Blameless

Holy and Blameless. It is difficult to see ourselves "Holy and Blameless" especially if we retrospectively look back at our lives and go over all those painful memories we now know left deep wounds. Whether we wounded or were wounded, the scriptures tell us that "we are all formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds.” Sin starts in the mind and works outward and as humans, it is our tendency, it is part of who we are. As much as you and I want to believe we are good people, we are selfish and prideful to ignore God's ways to pursue our own.

Our relationship with God was broken but reconciliation came at a price, the broken body of Jesus through death. Through Christ Jesus, the wrath against all sin has been settled and you and I are now presented holy and blameless before God's sight. While Jesus' death was a huge sacrifice, enough to cover our sin, there is still an ongoing process on our end to receive and accept. There's healing in this process of faith that despite our wrongdoings there's forgiveness, hope, peace, love, healing, and abundant life through Him.

Colossians 1:21-22

Prayer Declaration

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your son Christ Jesus to settle our debt so we may find reconciliation with you. Help me bring my thoughts captive to the mind of Christ daily and launch me into an unshakeable walk of faith in you. Thank you Jesus for the price you paid for my healing, forgiveness, deliverance, and eternal life allowing me to be found holy and blameless before the eyes of God. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen!
