Karen Berrios Inner Healing - is't ok to take collagen if you had breast cancer

Gift of Love and Mercy!

Love and Mercy. It is safe to say that a cancer diagnosis can change you! Not only you but your family and those closest to you. I can still remember how hard and scary it was when I first heard these words… “You have cancer” Looking at my husband’s eyes felt like our world ended, fear and desperation of the different possibilities of a cancer diagnosis was something we couldn’t imagine. We had witnessed how others endured so much pain and suffering due to this horrible disease. We felt like our world had drastically shifted and fear and despair took control of our minds and hearts for a while.

Today, I am proud to say that I am cancer-free, and although the journey was extremely difficult, I am grateful. You see, I am not grateful for cancer, but I am grateful for what God has done in the midst of it all. Trust me when I tell you that there is a loving God behind the scenes that cares deeply for you and me. Although we may not understand how or why things unfold the way they do, trust and have faith that God can turn your pain into triumph and use your life to bring hope, healing, and restoration for you and others.

As we step into holiday celebrations, I encourage you to celebrate this Christmas as the most precious gift you will ever receive. Christmas is a gift of Love & Mercy, and these are now available for you to receive freely by grace. God’s love is eternal, unconditional and Jesus displays this love for you and me. God’s mercy is displayed by the sending of His son Jesus to rescue the world from sin. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent His son Jesus to take our place. Jesus received what we deserve and in return, we received by grace “Unconditional Love, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Healing, and Eternal Life.”

Today, I pray that as you read this post, you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I pray that you rest in the knowing that you have been forgiven and accept Him in your heart as your King, your Lord, and your Savior. Know that you don’t have to earn it, but just receive Him with a surrendered heart, allowing yourself to be filled with His love for you. I know it is hard to face cancer, covid, and an endless list of heartaches, but trust me He is the only gateway for you to receive the “Peace, Love, Rest, Hope, and Acceptance” that you long!

I pray you receive this beautiful “Gift of Love & Mercy” today. Merry Christmas!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
