Parent-child bond

Parent – Child Bond❤️

At the beginning of January, My daughter and I kicked off the year by going to the most magical place on the planet. I was “forced” to go to Florida on business but took advantage of this opportunity and took my daughter to DisneyWorld… The happiest place on earth!

Our time together was precious and a time we will both cherish forever, Parent-child bond. We not only enjoyed each other’s company but we laughed, we bonded, we had some deep conversations, and most importantly we spent “Quality Time” together. I am filled with gratitude to have had this amazing opportunity to not only travel to this magical place but mostly to have had the space to spend time with my precious child. A time to connect, stay present, rejoice in God’s blessings, and mentor my daughter in what I know to be true in our lives.

I know many may not have the ability to go to Disneyworld , however, you don’t have to go to such places to foster INTIMACY and build a strong connection with your children and those you love. One of my doctors asked me, how do you want your children to remember you? A simple question and answer, however when facing so many challenges, like a cancer diagnosis, a financial crisis, a broken marriage, or any other life challenge, it is difficult to stay connected to our vision and the legacy we want to leave behind.

I want to encourage you to elevate your prayers, your intention, your desire, to live a life worth living, and CHOOSING to stay connected to your identity, the version of life you want despite the challenges you may face. For me, my identity is found in who God says I am, despite the storms I face or the judgment of others. Although I may not have it all together, I want to leave a legacy of:

  • Love
  • Acceptance
  • Honor
  • Healing
  • Restoration
  • Mentorship
  • Inspiration
  • Blessings

Sending you much love & healing always! 🦋
