Holding a grudge?
Holding a grudge doesn’t make you strong, it makes you bitter. Forgiving doesn’t make you weak, it sets you free.” – Dave Willis 🦋
The bible says that holding bitterness and resentment will only allow offense and disappointment to take root in your heart. Consequently, your conscious and unconscious thoughts and actions will reflect this impacting your life and those around you. Just like any other emotional ailment, bitterness can aggravate or cause a physical manifestation. God paid the ultimate price for your sins and He has already released you from this sin. If you are dealing with bitterness, resentment, or anger, ask Jesus for forgiveness and invite Him to cleanse your heart and place His love and peace instead.
As we celebrate Christmas and family time during this holiday season, I pray we let go of any bitterness and that we may choose to replace it with life, love, and peace. Let’s let our energy, our frequency, our spirit rise to a higher level from where we are meant to live.
