Armor of God

HELMET OF SALVATION

Armor of God. Thank you, Lord, for my salvation, Thank you that Your death paid the price for my sins as well as my sickness. I receive everything you paid for, the fullness of my salvation today. I declare that nothing can separate me now from the love of Christ and the place I have in Your heart.

BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Lord, today I am clothed with Your righteousness and it frees me from all condemnation, guilt, and shame. Let Your holiness and purity be my garments. Defend me from every assault against my heart.

BELT OF TRUTH

Lord, I choose a lifestyle of honesty and integrity. Show me the truths I need for my life today. Expose any lies that I might not even be aware that I am believing.

SHOES OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE

I choose to live for the gospel of the Kingdom at all times. Show me my part in what You are doing on the earth. Give me grace to stay focused on the path You’ve destined for me to walk upon.

SHIELD OF FAITH

Jesus, I lift the confidence that You are good against every lie and every assault of the enemy. You have only good in store for me. Nothing is coming today that can overcome me because You are with me.

SWORD OF THE SPIRIT

Holy Spirit, show me the specific truths of the Word of God that I will need today to counter the snares of the enemy. Bring them to my mind throughout the day.

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

Holy Spirit, give me wisdom so that I can walk in step with you in everything I do, as my spirit communes with you throughout this day.
